How customer payments reach you
Where the money goes for cash on delivery, bKash/Nagad, bank transfer and counter sales.
How the money from your customers reaches you depends on how they pay. StoreLine has no payout schedule for cash on delivery or manual payments: that money goes from the courier, or from the customer, straight to you.
By payment method
- Cash on delivery: the courier collects the money from the customer and sends it to you under your agreement with that courier.
- bKash, Nagad, Rocket or bank transfer (when your store offers them): the customer sends the money directly to the account you set on the payment method. You then check each payment on the order.
- Cash at the counter (POS): you receive it at the counter.
Keeping track of courier COD
If your store has COD Settlement, you can record what each courier sends you under Accounting → COD Settlement. It shows how much is still with couriers ("COD in transit") and which delivered orders haven't been remitted yet. When you record a settlement, the amounts must add up: collected = charges already booked + additional courier fee + amount remitted to you.
FAQ
No. COD goes through your courier, and manual payments go straight to your own account.
COD Settlement isn't part of any plan. The StoreLine team turns it on for a store; if you don't see it, it isn't turned on for yours. To open it you also need Record payments or View accounts & finance reports.
