Updated 5 min read12 steps

You can create your StoreLine store yourself in a few minutes. First you open an account and confirm it with a code, then a short setup guides you through your store's details. No card is needed to start.

Before you start

  • An email address you can open now. StoreLine sends your verification code to it, or to your mobile number by SMS.
  • A Bangladeshi mobile number that is with you, like 01712345678.
  • A name for your store, and the web address you'd like, such as rahim-fashion.
  • Optional: your logo, your delivery charges, and your bKash or Nagad number. You can add these later too.

Steps: open your account

4 steps · ~3 min

  1. Step 1

Click Create your store on the StoreLine sign-in page (or the sign-up button on the StoreLine website).
  2. Step 2

Fill in Full name, Email and Mobile number.
  3. Step 3

Choose a Password of at least 8 characters that doesn't contain your name or email address, and type it again in Confirm password.
  4. Step 4

Tick the box to agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and click Create Account. You may also be asked to complete a quick security check.

Steps: confirm with the code

3 steps · ~2 min

  1. Step 1

StoreLine sends you a 6-digit code, to your email or by SMS to your mobile number. The page tells you where it was sent.
  2. Step 2

Find the code: in the email titled Verify your email, or in the SMS from StoreLine. The code works for 10 minutes.
  3. Step 3

Type the code into the six boxes. Once all six digits are in, StoreLine checks it and takes you on. If it doesn't, click Verify And Continue.

If the code is wrong, you see how many tries are left. After 5 wrong tries, ask for a new code. To start again with different details, click Change email address.

Steps: set up your store

5 steps · ~4 min

The setup has five steps. The first and last are required. You can skip the three in between with Skip For Now and finish them later in Settings.

  1. Step 1

Contact & store. Your name and mobile number are already filled in. Enter your Store name and Store web address, then your Business phone and City. Business email and Address are optional. Click Create Store. Your store is created at this step.
  2. Step 2

Store basics. Check the Storefront name, add a Tagline (one short line about what you sell) and upload your Logo. Click Save And Continue.
  3. Step 3

Contact & social. Add the Contact phone, Contact email, Address, Opening hours and WhatsApp number customers see on your store. Click Save And Continue.
  4. Step 4

Selling setup. Under Delivery charges, enter a Name (for example "Inside Dhaka") and a Charge (৳), then click Add Charge. Add one for each area or speed. Under How customers pay, add your bKash number or Nagad number if customers should be able to pay to it. Click Save And Continue.
  5. Step 5

Review & finish. Check your store's name, web address, owner and email, your plan, and which steps are Done or skipped. Click Edit next to anything you want to change, then click Finish Setup.

Your store's web address

  • Use 3 to 32 lower-case letters, numbers and dashes. It can't start or end with a dash.
  • While you type, StoreLine checks the address. You see that it is available, or This address is already taken., or that it is reserved and can't be used.
  • You can change the store name and web address later. You can also connect your own domain later.

After setup: your dashboard and a short tour

When you click Finish Setup, your dashboard opens with Your store is ready. Click Start Tour for a 9-step tour of the dashboard: where to find products, orders, customers and settings, how to visit your storefront, and where your account menu is. Click Skip Tour to start working straight away. You can take the tour later with Take the tour in your profile menu.

What your new store already has

  • A StoreLine web address, for example rahim-fashion followed by the StoreLine domain.
  • Cash on delivery, turned on for every store.
  • An "Uncategorized" category, a ready-made theme, and a "Walk-in customer" for counter sales.
  • The Free plan, with a free trial. The Review & finish step shows when your trial ends. You can change your plan any time from Settings → Subscription.

FAQ

Check your email's spam folder, and your phone's messages. Wait for the countdown under the boxes to end, then click Send a new code. A new code replaces the old one. If you see "Too many codes were requested for this email", wait a while and try again.

Then no code is sent. You get an email with links to sign in or reset your password instead.

It must be at least 8 characters, and it can't contain your name or email address. A password that is too common, or known from a data leak, is also refused. Choose a different one.
